Sunday 6th November 2016 (6.42pm)
It appears that I have loads to update as I have not written since last Monday. I have been really busy with appointments and I have still been experiencing headaches and tiredness.
On a positive note, I have a new puppy who I have named Olly. I picked Olly up on Tuesday and he is just over 10 weeks old. We became attached to each other straight away, he is adorable. I can see that we will be really good for each other and I cannot wait to take him out for walks and adventures. Unfortunately I cannot do this for at least another 3 weeks until his next lot of vaccinations. ‘A’ loves coming around and spending time with him.
My nights are interrupted but nothing too bad. Olly certainly keeps me busy. I am able to write this now as he is asleep on my feet.
On the plus side, I have not had the chance to think about me as I have literally had no time to myself. Last Wednesday I had a force medical appointment who said that there was no way I could return to work yet. I felt exhausted talking to him and at times I got quite emotional.
I have also been visited by two people from the BBC who told me about the plans. I can’t wait to get started now. I have had to write another report to work requesting permission and clarifying a few points! I am likely to start filming week commencing 14th November so I plan to go ahead until directed otherwise.
I saw my GP on Thursday morning and I have been given another two weeks of Fluoxetine. I did not get any more sleeping pills as I did not want any. I have not taken one since either last Tuesday or Wednesday night. My appetite has been bad and I have lost 4kg since my last weigh in. I have to go back and see GP Wednesday. In the afternoon I had a counselling appointment and I found that I was struggling badly with headaches. It was a good session as we talked about my perfectionism and how I wanted everything that I did to be the highest of standards.
Today I went to the gym for the first time since Monday. I did 30 minutes on the bike but really struggled with tiredness. The drug reaction has literally zapped me over the last 10 days.
Lets just say, toilet training is work in progress (with Olly not me).
